Playful Places
With energy to burn, kids are always looking for something fun and exciting on vacation. Chandler’s family-fun centers give them the interactive experience they crave.
They can literally bounce off the walls at Jumpstreet, an indoor trampoline park where the trampolines angle up the walls.
The four distinct play areas at Makutu’s Island family center – with a 25-foot “oak tree,” surrounded by the Pirates Cove, Palm Slide and Blue Fantasy Tree – offer kids a variety of opportunities for fun.
Remember what winter was like? You can experience only winter’s fun parts in Chandler at Polar Ice Chandler, an indoor skating rink. You’ll delight in the cold this time of year, and then you can walk out whenever you want. Now that’s the best winter we’ve ever heard of! You’ll give your kids a cool treat during summer. Just check for open skate times, lace up your skates and then take a glide on the ice.
You can also make a splash this summer with outdoor fun. At any of Chandler’s water parks, the kids – and mom and dad – can splash and play in the parks’ water slides, current river and water vortex. Thoughtfully positioned shade structures offer sun protection, too. There’s plenty of aquatic fun for everyone! The water parks are open daily, and admission prices start at only $1.
After the pool, why not try a little retail therapy at any of Chandler’s shopping centers. You’ll enjoy the cool comfort of indoor shopping centers like the area’s regional, upscale and family-friendly mall – Chandler Fashion Center, where you’re sure to get some cool finds.
