Arizona Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds

AZ ARVC or the Arizona Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds has been in existence since 1975. The Association's Mission is to "Promote and Support our Members and the Outdoor Hospitality Industry through Education, Communication and Representation." We provide two Conferences a year: One in the state and one nationally where education classes allow our members to work toward their certifications in varying levels. We provide a voice in the legislature for the RV Industry at both the state and national levels. We provide a State web site, gocampinginarizona.com and a National web site, gocampingamerica.com.

Past and present Board of Directors have been instrumental in their support of Scenic Byways and Visitor Centers in Arizona. Seven past and present AZ Board Members have served 6 year terms each on the National Board of Directors from 1975 to present. Many of our members have received numerous awards from the state and national associations. For example, National and State Parks of the Year have gone to RV Parks as J&H RV Park, Flagstaff; Desert's Edge RV Village, Phoenix; Rincon Country West, Tucson; Rincon Country East, Tucson; La Hacienda RV Resort, Apache Junction; Voyager RV Resort, Tucson; Butterfied RV Park, Benson; Far Horizons, Tucson. Our Parks excel and as an Association, we're here to help them to do just that! For more information about membership in AZ ARVC contact Executive Director, Jo Ann Mickelson at 602-403-6196.
