Make it an Arizona Getaway
Once the race is run, what next? Why not explore Arizona, home to perennial sunshine, room to roam and an easygoing energy. New cultures constantly taking root, while historic ones continue to thrive. A timelessness that's rugged, yet elegant. And adventure that surrounds, from a morning hike to an unforgettable meal. In the Grand Canyon State, exciting experiences await you, as boundless as the skies above.
Extend your stay in Arizona and discover why a trip to Arizona is truly an unforgettable experience. Here are just a few of our favorite recommendations:
The Grand Canyon
President Theodore Roosevelt once said it was “the one great sight every American should see," and more than 4 million people come from all over the globe to do so every year. The Grand Canyon leaves all who experience it with a sense of wonder, magic and awe. Explore its characteristic gorge inside a raft down the Colorado River, or stay on land, hiking its spectacular trails. And there’s always a sunrise or sunset to savor, wildlife to be watched, and views to be marveled from the air in a helicopter tour. The possibilities for viewing the canyon are as endless as its colossal grandeur. Learn more about visiting the Grand Canyon >>
Tucson
Tucson is a growing metropolis that keeps getting better and better. The city's geography is a postcard image of cactus forests, rolling hills and awe-inspiring mountains. Tucson lies in the borderland, a region that blends the cultures of the United States and Mexico, and has a long history of settlement by ancient Native American peoples, Spanish explorers and Anglo frontiersmen. Many of Tucson’s great places to stay are also great attractions themselves. Enjoy the luxury of one of the top destination spas in the world. Experience the Old West in an authentic guest ranch. Stay at a fine resort, where the golf course or tennis court is steps away from your front door, or opt for a luxury boutique hotel. Learn more about visiting Tucson >>
Sedona
Until you go to Sedona, you can’t really understand how this high-altitude town has perfected the art of seducing visitors. On offer – the chance to explore rustic natural surroundings, including its iconic red rock landscape, big-city caliber restaurants and a selection of hotels, resorts and inns that really showcase the town’s creative and artistic side. Flagstaff
Surrounded by natural wonders and offering more than 200 restaurants, numerous night spots, and a variety of cultural, historic and scientific attractions, Flagstaff is the ideal base for exploring the treasures of northern Arizona. Visitors from all over the world are attracted to the clean mountain air, year-round outdoor recreation opportunities, historic downtown charm and Western legacy of pioneer ranchers, railroad builders and lumbermen. Some of the West's most beautiful country surrounds Flagstaff — from the alpine forests of our San Francisco Peaks (12,633 feet) to the rugged deserts of neighboring Native American nations – making it the perfect destination for people seeking the adventure, natural beauty and peaceful solitude of the American West. Prescott
As Arizona Territory’s first capitol, Prescott enjoys a long and storied past. Its frontier heritage, famous Whiskey Row and its distinction as “Everybody’s Hometown” have brought visitors to this mile-high city for decades. Prescott is set in a basin surrounded by the Bradshaw Mountains, Thumb Butte and Granite Dells, offering diverse opportunities for nature lovers and adventure seekers. No matter what your interests are, Prescott offers something for everyone — museums, art galleries, fine dining, theater and 450 miles of hiking and recreational trails.
